Solution Architect - Assurance

Location: Salford Quays, M5 3TT (Hybrid working)

Contract Type: Full Time


As a Solution Architect for Assurance, you will lead on the creation and review of our assurance capability strategy that meets the strategic requirements of the business. The assurance architecture that underpins both our Incident, Problem, Change Management capability as well as managing broadband and voice fault diagnostics and customer ticketing is key to ensuring both our direct and wholesale customers continue to experience high quality connectivity services. This role will also oversee a small pool of solution architects and designers aligned to the assurance strategy.

Key responsibilities

  • Initiate and maintain Architecture artefact's that align with architectural strategy and business strategic goals.
  • Provide governance to the Solution Designers and Delivery teams to ensure outputs align with the assurance and provisioning strategic architecture direction
  • Impact-assess new business requirements and change requests to determine architectural approaches for our assurance & provisioning domain
  • Be instrumental as an active service participant; supporting key stakeholders such as Programme Managers, Project Managers and Product Owners throughout the change lifecycle.
  • Be a subject matter expert in the assurance domain.
  • Be part of the Architecture and design management team, and line manage a small number of Solution Architects, Designers and Tech Leads

  • Telco
  • ITSM, Case Management & Ticketing
  • BMC [Remedy / Helix] Exp

Be great to also have:

Experience of Salesforce Service Cloud, Pega Customer Service, BB & Fibre Diagnostics and TM Forum
