Product Manager - Broadband

Location: Salford Quays, M5 3TT (Hybrid working)

The Product Manager – Broadband is accountable for supporting the transition of the TalkTalk broadband product portfolio on Olympus, with responsibility for both in-life performance and their part of the development roadmap. They own the customer experience and drive the development and competitiveness of our offering.

This role is accountable for:

  • Actively contributing into the Broadband & other Product Pods

  • Owning the part of the Olympus Broadband roadmap assigned to them

  • Supporting the transition of legacy products to Olympus

  • Comprehensive continuous product discovery, including the features, customer journey and CX required to be successful, working alongside the Product Owners, CX managers, UX/UI Managers, Journey Managers, Tech, Transformation, Commercial and Growth

  • Producing themes and epics, that are well understood and articulated in Features that support the success of our customer propositions

  • Contributing to the development of the supporting business cases

  • Actively contributing to the prioritisation decisions

  • Overseeing and analysing product performance metrics to inform future product decisions, including on investment

  • Reviewing and analysing competition product sets (with insight and analytics) to ensure TalkTalk products remain contemporary

  • Building solid and fruitful relations with their stakeholders to drive our goals

Reports to the Head of Broadband and works closely with the Broadband Pod lead, and is driving the areas assigned, facilitates the retirement of legacy products and comes up with proposals and ideas that serve our goals. Needs to be able to take initiatives in matrix teams. Is expected to own their area with good level of autonomy.

Expected to have good understanding of telcos/ISPs industry and market, relevant technologies, key financial and CX metrics and willingness to cover any possible gaps, combining and transforming them to actionable items.

Actively contributes to the establishment of the new product processes and product team structure, as well as needs of the Broadband Product team.
