Leadership changes – TalkTalk consumer business
As the TalkTalk Group began a new financial year on 1 March with the TalkTalk consumer business and PlatformX Communications network business now trading as separated entities, Dame Tristia Harrison, CEO of TalkTalk Group, announces the following changes to the leadership of the TalkTalk consumer business:
- Adam Dunlop is stepping down as CEO of TalkTalk and will move on to pursue other opportunities outside the group. Adam has delivered significant value to the Group by deepening the partnerships with our connectivity suppliers, and has led the successful transition in consumer strategy, resetting its longer-term vision and plan and preparing it for separation.
- Susie Buckridge has been appointed CEO, TalkTalk. An experienced CEO, having previously run YouView, TalkTalk’s TV joint venture, (alongside shareholders BT, BBC, ITV, Channel 4 and Channel 5), Susie joined TalkTalk in 2022 as Group Product, Data & Analytics Director, and more recently has been working as a key part of the Consumer leadership team as Chief Strategy & Data Officer. Susie was previously a strategy lead at the BBC across technology, commercial and partnerships, bringing a wealth of technology and data expertise to the role.
- The leadership changes are effective immediately, with Adam remaining in the business for a period to ensure an orderly transition.
Dame Tristia commented: “I am delighted to appoint Susie to the role of CEO of our consumer business. An experienced and highly respected leader in technology, data and media, I know that Susie will bring her characteristic dynamism, innovation and vision to the role, with some really exciting ideas on how TalkTalk can continue to disrupt the market after 21 years as a challenger.
"I want to thank Adam for the great job he has done in both leading our supplier work and preparing our consumer business for separation from our wholesale PlatformX Communications business. He leaves us with a consumer business that is delivering against its plan. It has been a pleasure working alongside him.
