Billing and Margin Assurance Senior Analyst
The Team
This role is part of the Commercial Team, which is at the heart of the business, with key stakeholders right across Sales, Marketing, Operations and Finance. We ensure everything we do is profitable, with cost consideration being a key factor.
The Billing and Margin Assurance team is key to ensuring we accurately bill newly acquired customers, whilst diligently reviewing our existing base and processes ensuring billing is accurate and profitable. The BMA Senior Analyst will report into the Billing & Margin Assurance Manager and will work closely with the Billing Analysts providing support and guidance.
The Role
As a Billing and Margin Assurance Senior Analyst you will seek out and master the uncovering of revenue optimisation and leakage opportunities. You will sit cross functionally analysing processes, practices, and procedures. You will use your insight to identify where there are gaps and create work streams to lead into the BMA Analysts.
The key responsibilities for this role include:
Use initiative to identify potential workstreams and undertake analysis where BMA gaps can be uncovered
Utilise reports, customer/invoice data and engage with business teams and business stakeholders to undertake analysis looking for potential leakage and operational effectiveness
Highlight any revenue uplift or revenue leakage opportunities, identify root cause with proposed improvement plan for review. Indicate benefits and risk with the view to implement projects and workstreams into the BMA Analysts
Help create plans, processes, and support cadence for BMA Analysts to implement solutions based on priorities and recognise time sensitive fixes/projects
Supporting BMA Analysts with frameworks to demonstrate progress on workstreams and expected financial results
Support in creating frameworks to establish BMA risks in process and operational change with any lessons learnt
Demonstrate to business areas the BMA impact on any identified process gaps and work with BMA analysts to find fixes, and support with driving business areas to make process
