Senior Partner Account Manager

Location: Salford Quays, M5 3TT (Hybrid working)

Contract Type: Full Time


As a Senior Partner Account Manager you will be responsible for managing the relationship with a select portfolio of accounts within our Consumer Wholesale function which we expect you to nurture and grow. You will be responsible for all aspects of account development both selling existing products as well as developing opportunities for our Next Generation of Voice and Data solutions. 

In addition to your existing Portfolio you will be expected to identify, engage and on-board new Partners. 

As part of your role you will be a key influencer of the Product and Commercial strategy within TalkTalk Consumer Wholesale Services so that we continue to have alignment with our Partners businesses model.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales / commercial strategies that support the acquisition and retention of major partners in key segments.
  • Take ownership of existing major relationships with Partners; ensuring alignment with TalkTalk Consumer Wholesale’s new strategic business objectives and operating model.
  • Knowledge share and support with key internal stakeholders
  • Collaborate with team members commercially and technically on calls with Partners and internal stakeholders.
  • Deliver key deals to ensure a high win rate
  • Responsible for the commercial relationship between TalkTalk Consumer Wholesale Services and your Partners.
  • Foster and build partnerships within Key Stakeholders in each of your accounts
  • Retain & build existing and new revenue streams, whilst exceeding your allocated sales targets and achieving allocated KPI measures.
  • Deliver accurate weekly commitment team forecasting based on partner opportunity for rolling 90 day period
  • Building effective internal relationships with colleagues
  • Attend Leadership meetings and cascade necessary information to the team

Skills and Experience

Must have:

  • New business and account management field sales experience in a corporate environment (Telecommunications sector experience an advantage but not essential).
  • Credible and proven experience of working with complex and technical accounts within a large corporate organisation.
  • Has the type of personality to deal with a spectrum of people both internally and externally, from assistants and engineers, through to Senior Management / CEO level.
  • The ability to establish and build effective relationships, think creatively and demonstrate commercial awareness.
  • High Level of written, oral, presentation and communication skills with demonstrable ability to negotiate.
  • The ability to work as part of a team, contributing, leading and challenging as well as the ability to work autonomously and under own motivation.
