In this new and exciting role of Research Manager, you’ll be an important member of TalkTalk’s ad hoc research and market intelligence team, collaborating on projects spanning brand strategy, usage and behaviour, proposition testing and customer journey.
Spanning both qualitative and quantitative research, as well as involvement with market intelligence initiatives, you’ll be a key member of the Research and Market Intelligence team within Insight & Analytics.

Collaborating with key stakeholders across Consumer, Business, and Wholesale teams, with departments such as Marketing, Brand, Commercial, Product, Customer Experience and Propositions, you’ll lead projects both internally and partnering with external agencies.
Understanding research requirements from stakeholders to write detailed, succinct briefs, and answering ad hoc business questions, you’ll clearly articulate actionable insights from qualitative and quantitative data.
You’ll review research outputs and provide strategic direction to our agencies to support story-building, whilst analysing and distributing market share and performance insights to the business, including competitor analysis.
Supporting the Principal Research & Market Intelligence Manager in report creation, you’ll develop strong working relationships with colleagues and champion high-quality standards.

Proven experience as a Research Manager or in a similar end-to-end market research role, which can be agency or client-side.
Highly experienced in using advanced research techniques whilst managing qualitative and quantitative end-to-end research projects, including data sampling, partner briefing, survey design, fieldwork management, analysis, and reporting.
The undertaking of competitor analysis and analysing of market data
Advanced in the use of Excel and PowerPoint, for the purpose of creating reports and presenting to stakeholders.
Excellent attention to detail, communication skills and problem-solving skills.
Drive to develop your own knowledge and skill set.
People management experience
SPSS or Q-Research software
Telecommunications industry experience
