The Team

This role is part of the Commercial Team, which is at the heart of the business, with key stakeholders right across Sales, Marketing, Operations and Finance. We ensure everything we do is profitable, with cost consideration being a key factor.

The Billing and Margin Assurance team is key to ensuring we accurately bill newly acquired customers, whilst diligently reviewing our existing base and processes ensuring billing is accurate and profitable. The Senior BMA Analyst will report into the Billing & Margin Assurance Manager and will work closely with the Billing Analysts providing support and guidance.

The Role

As a Billing and Margin Assurance Analyst it will your job to review invoices, costs, and customer accounts identifying gaps of revenue leakage and optimisation.

You will manage, analyse and monitor workstreams implementing fixes/query anomalies. You will use your knowledge and insight to support with improvements on processes changes into the organisation.

The key responsibilities for this role include:

• Work alongside the Senior BMA to help seek out process improvements and gaps where there is leakage and ability to optimise revenues

• Analyse and reconcile data across product lines, customer accounts and supplier invoicing to ensure business profitability

• Responsible and accountable for taking corrective action where adjustments or queries are required

• Help to develop and monitor data quality metrics to ensure revenues/invoices received are consistent with expectations

• Seek out knowledge and training in business systems and processes to be able implement corrections and fixes

• Confident in managing, organising, and reporting on data sets. Able to provide updates on progress throughout and to be able to summarise results of a project with business benefits

• Collaborating with business units on process changes, monitoring leakage/revenue optimization and scheduling reviews with the support of the Senior
