Billing and Assurance Analyst

Location: Salford Quays, M5 3TT (Hybrid working)

Contract Type: Full Time


As Billing & Assurance Analyst you'll ensure that TalkTalk Wholesale Services (TTWS) maximises revenues and minimises cost of sales. You'll be instrumental in the reconciliation of assets and services, treating all anomalies.

You'll build and maintain revenue assurance frameworks and controls, and ensure new products and propositions are launched with the correct process and controls in place. This will increase bill accuracy and reduce the value and volume of bill corrections.

How will I add value in this role?

  • Manage day-to-day workload of treatment, reconciliation and credit/refund analysis. 

  • Highlight any revenue uplift or revenue leakage opportunities, identify root cause with proposed improvement plan and execution against that plan

  • Build robust revenue assurance frameworks with controls across the TTWS product portfolio.

  • Work with the product and trading teams to ensure any new products and propositions have the right level of control and reporting in order to bill accurately 

  • Analyse credit values across all TTWS customer channels, providing root cause analysis & credit reduction plans. 

  • Monitor, understand and track credit impact resulting from incidents. 

  • Deal with billing queries in a timely manner, identifying process improvements through root cause analysis, and applying corrective actions, with full end-to-end accountability. 

  • Become a subject matter expert on the DISE billing system and its functionality. 

  • Liaise with all internal and external contacts ensuring business requirements are met within a billing solution.

What do I need in order to deliver in the role?

You'll be able to demonstrate your experience of revenue assurance and your ability to manage small projects

You'll have sound commercial awareness

It would be ideal If you have any of the following, but we'd still like to hear from you if you don't:

  • OFCOM Metering & Billing experience

  • Knowledge of ISO standards

  • Previous B2B billing & DISE experience
