Screen Talks feature exclusive on-stage interviews with some of the film industry’s most high profile figures. TalkTalk will film the interviews in front of a live audience at the Times BFI 53rd London Film Festival and made available for free through TalkTalk’s media portal www.tiscali.co.uk allowing people around the country to gain a rare and unique glimpse into the world of film.
The 2009 Screen Talks will feature:
- British action hero Clive Owen, star of multiple blockbuster films including King Arthur, Sin City, Children of Men and Elizabeth
- Four time Oscar-nominated actress Julianne Moore, perhaps best known for her versatility which has encompassed roles in The End of the Affair with co-star Ralph Fiennes, Tom Cruise’s Magnolia, Hannibal and The Hours
- Academy Award-winning film maker and screenplay writer Jane Campion, director of The Piano, which won both the Palme D’Or at Cannes (making her the first women ever to collect the award) and Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay in 1993
- Director and artist Sam Taylor-Wood, whose film Nowhere Boy (a biopic of legendary Beatles singer John Lennon) has been selected as the closing presentation of the 2009 London Film Festival on the 29th October
