TalkTalk Business gets Serious about SIP

UK’s fastest growing telco unveils the country’s best value SIP offering
The Smart Choice for Channel Partners, delivering free SIP trunks
Integrating new acquisition tIPicall, bringing together SIP expertise with the UK’s largest next generation network

TalkTalk Business today unveiled its new SIP offering following the acquisition of tIPicall, the UK-based Channel-only SIP and hosted carrier. Building on their proven heritage in voice, TalkTalk Business SIP Trunking powered by tIPicall will combine the UK’s largest next-generation network with tIPicall’s considerable expertise to deliver the best value offering in the market place.

The new proposition will see TalkTalk Business offering free SIP trunking with on-net data, market leading voice rates and highly competitive connectivity pricing. Flexibility is also at the heart of TalkTalk Business’s new offering, with partners able to scale contracts up or down on a monthly basis.

SIP requires robust and reliable connectivity, so choosing TalkTalk Business as the single provider gives partners peace of mind that they have one carrier responsible for the end-to-end service, one account manager for all their voice and data queries, and access to tIPicall’s market –leading, purpose-built provisioning, management and support portals.

Charles Bligh, Managing Director at TalkTalk Business, said: “We have always thrived on being innovative and disruptive, delivering value back to our partners and providing a fantastic all-round service. Now we’re getting serious about SIP. We believe that our new SIP offering will deliver the best value prices combined with unbeatable reliability and comprehensive training, testing and on-boarding, giving our partners all the tools they need to succeed.”

TalkTalk already carries over 16 billion SIP minutes per annum, and with the market growing by 30% a year, there is a huge opportunity for channel partners to take advantage and maximise their revenue potential, especially as the switch-off of traditional voice in 2025 approaches, whilst ensuring an enhanced experience for their own customers.

Guy Miller, former Managing Director, tIPicall and Director of Next Generation Voice Services, TalkTalk Business, said: “We’re delighted to be teaming up with TalkTalk Business to transform the SIP market yet again. We believe that combining our passion for innovation with TalkTalk’s impressive and reliable network will create a platform that is the smart choice for partners looking to access the full connectivity portfolio whilst leveraging the underlying cost base and scale for SIP services.”
