TalkTalk Business remains one of the fastest growing B2B telecoms businesses in the UK
TalkTalk Group’s interim FY15 financial results have today revealed impressive growth for TalkTalk Business, the Group’s B2B division. Overall Corporate revenue has grown by 9.3 per cent year-on-year, driven by the strong demand for the provider’s competitively priced data products, which saw an increase of 55 per cent.
In the first half of the financial year, TalkTalk Business won several new contracts to supply Ethernet and Ethernet First Mile (EFM) connections, adding 4,000 new Ethernet and EFM lines, and taking its installed base to over 21,500.
TalkTalk Business’ success has also been fuelled by its deepening relationship with existing customers, including Iceland, which expanded its data network to include next generation voice services. SSE Telecom has also expanded its relationship with TalkTalk Business, launching Ethernet into its substantial B2B customer base.
We are committed to providing our customers and partners with simple, value for money products that leverage the scale and capability of the TalkTalk network,” said Charles Bligh, Managing Director of TalkTalk Business. “The demand for data products has enabled TalkTalk Business to celebrate another quarter of outstanding growth.
“Our recent contract wins and sustained growth demonstrate that our clients and business partners are seeing TalkTalk Business as a true alternative to incumbent carriers, and we are proud to be the only provider of wholesale broadband and fibre other than BT.”
In addition to the strong revenue growth, TalkTalk Business launched its first ever marketing and advertising campaign for Business Broadband aimed at the SoHo and SME market and see real opportunity to drive more growth in this area. Small businesses who take Business Broadband from TalkTalk Business could save up to £535 vs BT. Recent research by TalkTalk Business found that only half of small businesses think they are getting value for money from their broadband.
The provider also launch a free voice app, Talk2Go, delivering even further value to business broadband customers by enabling them to use existing fixed line minutes on their mobile free of charge, plus free app to app calls.
