The General Data Protection Regulation is reshaping European privacy laws, impacting the way organisations capture and manage the personal data of their customers and employees.

Under these rules, which come into effect in May 2018, any company that has an EU customer base will need to meet the new requirements for security and privacy of personal information, including managing the lifecycle of personal data.
