TalkTalk promotes new TV service with X Factor sponsorship

TalkTalk will promote its remarkable new TV service with its sponsorship of The X Factor 2012.

At just £14.50 per month* TalkTalk’s stunning value phone, broadband and TV package deal includes a free set top box, access to all YouView channels with seven day catch up and 12 months free Love Film Instant, plus anytime calls and unlimited downloads.

This is the fourth year of TalkTalk’s X Factor sponsorship and once again viewers are being given a chance to feature in the sponsorship ‘idents’ – the short videos at the beginning and end of ad breaks.

This year each video features dancers performing to famous hip hop, urban dance and pop tracks.

The dancers’ heads are replaced with TV screens and viewers will be able to upload videos of themselves performing the tracks. The best will be shown on TV and be seen by millions of viewers.

Content can be uploaded via Facebook (including via a mobile phone app) and the TalkTalk website.

TalkTalk will also use its sponsorship of The X Factor USA on ITV2, which airs from 20th September, to support TalkTalk Mobile which will launch great value smartphone contracts later this year.

Ten thousand TalkTalk customers will be able to win a place at the live final weekend which this year takes place in Manchester. TalkTalk Customers will be able enter for a chance to win a family ticket via Facebook.
